What is a virtual Hope Walk? With social distancing and wearing masks being the new normal, and in an effort to keep our community safe, our committee has decided to host our walk virtually again this year. This means our members can safely walk, run, or even bike and swim in their own neighborhood or park, at their own pace, for as long as, or as many times as they like!

Registration: There is a $25 registration fee for all walkers ages 10+. All registered walkers are entitled to a one-of-a-kind Hope Walk shirt and swag bag. See the Shirt and Bag Pick-up times below for details on how to get your goodies!

What about fundraising for Cancer Support Community? Yes! Please set up your fundraising page and continue fundraising by asking your friends and family to make a donation to CSC and inviting your friends to join your team. Watch our recent Hope Walk Fundraising Seminar to learn the best practices and tools other Hope Walk fundraisers have found to be successful.

Fundraising Incentives: We are offering the following incentives, based on an individual’s fundraising efforts:
$25 = Hope Walk registration and t-shirt
$100 = Insulated water bottle
$500 = Hope Walk backpack OR bag of self-care goodies
$1,000+ = Travel wine thermos set (thermos + 2 stemless wine glasses)

Event goals: Our goal is 1,000 walkers and $200,000 raised for our programs and services.

Shirt and Bag Pick-up:

Once you are registered, your event t-shirt and swag bag will be available for curbside pick-up at Sports Basement in Walnut Creek, during the days and times below:
Thursday, May 6th: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Friday, May 7th: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Saturday, May 8th: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Friday, May 14th: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

What happens on Friday, May 7? We will send all registered walkers a link to our virtual Hope Walk celebrations.

What happens on Monday, May 17? We will post a re-cap video featuring our walkers, sponsors, and community partners and let people know if we achieved our fundraising goal!
