Registration is $35 per walker, aged 10 and up. Each registered walker will receive a Hope Walk event t-shirt!
How do I fundraise for Cancer Support Community?
You can help raised valuable funds for Cancer Support Community programs by registering for the walk and letting your family, friends, and colleagues know they can support your efforts by donating. Asking 10 people for $10 will raise $100 to support local cancer patients and their loved ones. Download the flyer to share!
How do I participate virtually?
Register just like you would if you were to participate the day of Saturday, May 18th.
Hope Walk Pet Grand Marshal
Your pet could be the star of the Hope Walk! Register your beloved furry friend ($10) and they will receive a Hope Walk pet bandana. The top fundraising pet will become the Hope Walk Grand Pet Marshal!
Fundraising Incentives
The prizes below are for funds raised by individual fundraisers (not team totals).
$100 - CSC car magnet
$500 - CSC baseball cap
$1000 - 12 oz. CSC wine tumblers - double set
$2000+ - one free ticket to the 2024 Gala in the Grove

Route Information

The Hope Walk is a 5k (3.1 mile) loop around Heather Farm Park. There are two options for shortcuts and turnarounds if needed. All are welcome to do as much or as little of the full route as they would like.
Note: Be aware that the route includes sidewalks and dirt trail paths in the Park and on the Canal Trail so the path can be uneven. In the second half of the route, there is a brief steep downhill section.

Parking
Parking is available throughout Heather Farm Park. We ask that those with limited mobility are given priority to the parking lot closest to the event staging area at 301 N. Carlos Drive.
Weather
The Hope Walk will take place rain or shine. We recommend dressing in layers. We've had chilly mornings and warm afternoons.
Donation Collection
If you have collected cash or check donations you may bring them the morning of the walk or mail them to Cancer Support Community at 3276 McNutt Ave., Walnut Creek, CA 94597. Please be sure to note your name if they are to be credited to your fundraising efforts.
